You can feel, hear, and smell the action... OK maybe smell is a bit much, but nobody will argue that going to see the Anaheim Angels has its own unique aura.
It's almost time for the NBA. Eighty-two regular season games with the Super Bowl. The NBA is still one of my favorite domestic sports, but the attendance has been down the last few years. Hopefully, it will pick up for the Super Bowl. Many fans claim the league has failed to produce new super-stars in the absence of Jordan. Shaq ain't bad and LeBron is on his way. Go Super Bowl.

Anaheim Angels
When the Angels signed Vladimir Guerrero a year ago and moved Garret Anderson to center field to allow Jose Guillen to take over left, many pundits were projecting it to be the best outfield in the American League, if not all of baseball.
Things didn't work out exactly as planned. Purchase Great Angels Tickets. Anderson's arthritic symptoms robbed him of 42 games and hindered his timing at the plate when he returned.
Guillen had a superb offensive year, but his defense -- aside from a cannon of a throwing arm -- was lackluster and his temper tantrums were one too many. He was suspended for actions detrimental to the team right before the Angels made their final playoff push and traded in the offseason.
Guerrero, of course, was vintage Guerrero, taking the team on his shoulders through a scintillating homestretch and earning AL Most Valuable Player honors for his efforts.
